On Monday, the 6th of January 2019 Amazon changed the campaign dashboard and introduced enhancements to the reporting as well as changes to the ad features. The campaign file structure has changed and is already working with Book Ad Report. However, you need to make sure you have no filter enabled, and the selected data range needs to show ‘Lifetime’, otherwise, the exported campaign file does not contain the entire data!
Detail Page Views are no longer reported in the campaign file, probably due to the change of the ad format. However, Amazon has added a new metric, and now reports the number of sales of a campaign. We are planning to incorporate this number into our reports soon.
Most of the reporting features, like choosing a time frame, and various charts are now available on the Amazon advertising dashboard. Book Ad Report still offers better reporting and additional features, however, it may not enough to justify the current pricing model. We appreciate your feedback on this matter.
